Part part whole (PPW) & Bar Model: Excel

Create part part whole and bar model resources, quickly in Excel, bespoke for your students.

Up to 14 PPW models and 16 bar models can be created quickly and easily aimed directly at the level of the children in your classroom. You can even save them, once created and simply re-print them next year. Is your class a little stronger this year? Simply adjust the numbers in the resource!

The PPW models can operate up to 2 digit numbers whilst the bar models can go up to 3 digits.

Leave answers blank for the children to fill in or leave the whole model blank to ensure their understanding.

Easy to use instructions are within the sheet itself to help you with creating your own resources.

Using an Excel spreadsheet you can input the numbers aimed at the level your children are working at. You are able to alter font and add in your own pictures or text boxes as required. There is a line for the Date and space for titles and instructions should you desire.

Each option (PPW and Bar models) has 2 pages; the first page is simple (6 and 8 questions respectively) and the second changes the position of the whole and goes to 3 parts for the bar models.

You can simply use the first page with different numbers at first leaving the more complex models for another time.
