LO: I can plot shapes with a specific area and perimeter.

A fun and creative activity for children to practice what they know about area and perimeter by plotting furniture items on a grid, according to set values for area and perimeter.

Example question: There are four speakers in the corners of the room with an area of 4cm² each. Choose a colour to represent them. Fill in the key with the colour you have used.

Use as revision for lower-achieving pupils for Year 6 SATs, or to introduce area and perimeter in Year 3.
