Reviewing sight words or assessing children for their sight words need not be a dreary process. Here's a fun way to help children recognise 52 sight words from the Dolch word list (Primer set).
Content : This is a Microsoft Powerpoint based interactive teaching tool and contains all 52 sight words from the Dolch word list (Primer set)
How to play :
Move the slides using the arrow key at the bottom right hand corner.
Each child will choose a jelly bean and say the sight word. They can then touch the jellybean to see it jump and transform into food. When all the words are read, the feast is ready !
For some added fun, a bone for the chef’s pet dog, Dappy ,
is hidden in one of these jellybeans. The lucky kid will find the
bone for Dappy !
