Persuasive Speech Writing

This is a lesson designed for KS3 pupils on persuasive speech writing - how to identify persuasive techniques, how to consider the effectiveness of techniques and then how to write your own persuasive speech/paragraph using a success criteria.

This was a lesson I used for an interview, teaching a mixed ability year 8 class. The lesson feedback I received for this was really positive so this was something I wanted to share with others in case it was something they could use linked to persuasive/transactional writing in lessons.

While this is KS3 based, this could be adapted to be taught to KS4 pupils.
