A new lesson which could be used in Citizenship, PSHE or Tutor Time all about how and why we may be becoming more politically polarised and the importance of dialogue and listening to others with different opinions to ourselves. The lesson focuses on the murder of Charlie Kirk - but also covers other political assassinations from the past few years such as Sir David Amess and Jo Cox. The aim of the lesson is to teach students how to have peaceful, constructive debates even over controversial opinions and to promote peace and dialogue.
