This is an authentic reading resource on a topical issue. Pupils read a recent article from www.franceinfo.fr and answer 11 comprehension questions. They also demonstrate understanding of the text by finding key vocabulary. This resource can be used to stretch higher GCSE candidates or for AS and A level candidate. The text can be extrapolated for pupils to complete a written or oral response as to whether they are for or against burkinis.
