
This is a method for a practical to measure power, involving students climbing stairs and calculating the power they exert on doing this.
Students are first given a method to follow, plus a results table to fill in. They then have to answer the questions that follow, where they will ultimately calculate the power they exert upon climbing the stairs.
Ideal for GCSE students. The guidance is aimed at lower ability students, but the task could be made more challenging by removing some of the guidance.
