A lesson I did before a reading assessment at L4 with my Y7. Could be used with Y8 too. Students work in groups around the texts on the worksheet (a way to make it more fun is to stick the texts around the classroom). Make it a competition between the groups and they love it! The final part of the lesson they work by themselves as they have built their confidence. Includes routine and leisure activities + simple opinions.
