This resource is the 12th in a series of 14 resources to build pupils’ confidence in pronouncing the sounds of Spanish. This resource introduces some cultural knowledge: regarding how Spanish surnames are made, as well as some common first name equivalents, which pupils may want to adopt. Greetings are then presented with a chance for pupils to practise the question and answer using different well-known characters from books/TV programmes. Support is given at first and then gradually taken away over the course of the slides.
