A very simple idea to make introducing probability a bit more engaging. Print cards stating standard probabilities that students will need to know then put them into an old, empty tissue box. Get students to pick out a card and state the fraction for the probability described on their card. (Eg. Probability of getting head when you flip a coin.) Some are very straightforward, others are more complex to prompt discussion. As always, feedback and suggestions for improvement appreciated.
