Pupil Progress Meeting Record

This Word template can be used as a prompt and record for pupil progress meetings.

There are sections for:

• contextual information
• current outcomes in reading, writing and maths
• consideration of outcomes for key inclusion groups
• a review of progress
• reflection on student wellbeing
• focused discussion about a previously identified target group

Each section has 3 questions to guide discussion and a table to record key points. Each table has 3 sections:

• positively noteworthy
• discussion points
• action

The focus is on meaningful analysis and discussion to inform planning rather than on presenting the numerical data.

It includes wellbeing (e.g. attendance and behaviour) as well as attainment.

Icons are included which can be linked to school data via hyperlinks to avoid time being wasted typing up or presenting data.

This could be used at the start and end of the academic year – or more frequently if needed.
