
This is a short unit of 6 lessons to support able students in writing analytically about George Bernard Shaw’s ‘Pygmalion’. It includes Harkness discussion (with wool to help them visualise who has spoken), discussion of the themes and characters, an introduction to Marxist and Feminist theory, context and essay writing suggestions. I’ve also included some critical comment and links to resources as well as sentence starters.
