Here's an easy starter activity for getting students into a routine. Get them to stick one of the sheets into their book. At the start of a lesson, have two pyramids on the board with some bricks filled in. To get the brick above, you have to add the two below. In the bricks you could put simple numbers, directed numbers, decimals, fractions, expressions, surds. Next lesson, you use the next row etc.

These are nice little starters, ideal for the start of lessons to get the pupils working straight away. They cover a wide variety of topics and could be easily differentiated into levels. Thank you for sharing.
