I like this poster. It has all the information needed but in a more interesting way than a standard list.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks! I really like Piers' collective memory task idea, but the way I'm going to use it is for them to investigate properties then give them some empty venn diagrams and titles for them to the sort the data themselves!

This will provoke lots of thinking. I am going to try something like the idea above. After viewing and discussion as a class, see if they can re-create such a diagram given the shapes to cut out and the labels for the regions.

This has given me an idea - I am going to seperate the class into teams, call one up from each and give them 10 seconds to memorise this image, then they go back and try to remember as much of this as possible. After say a minute you call the next one up and so on until one team have assembled it completely. Good for class display as well, so thank you for making this possible!
