Kids of all ages are motivated by Minecraft. You don't need to be a computer whizz to tap into the craze with these fun blend passages.

Each has three blocks to shade when the child has read the story.
Personally, I read it to them the first time, then they read to a buddy and finally they read alone.

Children in my class class love hunting for the blends. Each passage has a dozen or so uses of the focus blend while still telling a fun coherent story set in the Minecraft universe.
Your class will love drawing the accompanying picture and practicing their writing in the spaces provided.

These make for great homework activities and with 25 different passages you have plenty to work with.
