Reds Hair Company teamed up with another salon, Cutting Edge, to form a training arm called Red Edge to train their apprentices. Since 1999, Red Edge's apprentices have gone on to senior roles in the businesses and to be trainers at college and some have set up their own shops. Red Edge's owner, Claire Winnall, has been invited to join the Worldskills training team.
