Self reflection plenary activity which could be used in any subject at any age.
The idea for this plenary activity was to try and think of a way for students to teach themselves when revising. I introduce 'Little Miss No-Show' as an often absent member of the class (either through truancy or illness etc - generally a little crazy story to keep students entertained) and set the class a short 5 minute task of writing a letter to her illustrating what we have done in the lesson and the mathematical steps needed to complete a question, including their own made up example.
