I currently use these slides to teach the unit of plants to my Year 9 groups. All files are editable to adapt them to your needs. The slides can be taught over 4-5 lessons
The topic is divided in 7 parts that include slides with information about:
- Photosynthesis.
- Mineral salts: diagram.
- Uses of water.
- Flowers
- Pollination
- Fertilisation
- Fruits
- End of unit questions
- Revision: 20 minutes of revision activities + slides to check the proper answers. I use it as revision before the exam.
Some slides contain notes for extra guidance.
Included: unit targets to use as checklist and revision guide slides. I give these two files to my students for them to prepare the assessment.
