This assignment is ideal for students who have been excluded temporarily or are in detention. It asks students to consider the recent situation for Teresa May in which she had multiple disasters while giving a speech. Regardless of political opinion, it showed resilience as she carried on and this assignment gives students the opportunity to think about resilience and how they might become more resilient themselves.
It is effective for any year group within secondary / high school. It could also work as an activity for PSHE or Form Time.
