The texts in this resource are based on interviews with women who MSF has worked with in a variety of programmes. The theme of this collection of stories is ‘overcoming taboos for women’s positive sexual health’. It includes exam-style questions and is ideal for revision, homework, cover work or independent study. It was created to commemorate International Women’s Day 2023 but can be used at any time.

Although it does not match any exam board specifications as it is not linked to a French-speaking country, it could be used more broadly to develop vocabulary and skills linked to the themes of Multiculturalism in French-speaking society (AQA) and French immigration and multicultural society (Edexcel).

The resource has been created by Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) using our authentic materials. Teachers are encouraged to review and select content and activities to best match their students’ needs.
