Pets – KS1 Reading Comprehension Pack

This zip file contains a complete pets-themed reading comprehension pack designed for KS1 students. The pack helps children practise early reading skills while learning about common pets, pet care, and related places, people, and items.

What’s included:

• 20 PDF files in total.
• Each file focuses on one pet-related concept (e.g. dog, vet, collar, animal shelter).
• Every file contains:

1. A simple text with clear, age-appropriate language.
2. An image of the concept.
3. Three comprehension questions based on the text.

• Key words such as what, where, why are in bold to guide students in understanding questions.
• The resources are provided in A5 format (A4 sheets ready to print and cut into two activities of the same text, questions, and image).
