KS2 SATs Reading – Inference Question Practice with Answers (Year 6) - 5 Short Texts

This KS2 reading resource is designed to support Year 6 pupils in developing inference and evidence-based answering skills in preparation for SATs.

The pack contains five short, age-appropriate reading texts, each followed by a set of carefully structured inference questions. Most texts include 8 questions, allowing pupils to explore characters’ thoughts, feelings, and motivations in depth. One shorter text includes 5 questions, making it suitable for quicker sessions or lower-attaining groups.
