What this demo teaches
French has thousands of verbs, but only a handful of underlying patterns. Once a student can recognise which family a verb belongs to, they can conjugate it, including verbs they’ve never explicitly been taught. That’s the skill the full curriculum builds, from present tense through to the subjunctive. This demo shows you exactly how.

The Verb Engine (demo variant), showing the single-page reference map format and how the scaffolded stages reveal tenses progressively. This is demonstrated as a runnng slideshw once The engine is supplied in the form of an EDITABLE excel file which means you can easily edit it to supply the exact variant suitable for your current class. Predictive Verb Quiz (demo stage), experience the pattern-recognition question type that proves genuine understanding rather than memorisation. Students predict conjugations based on the verb categories in the Verb Engine. (9564 slots.)
