The lesson encourages pupils to think carefully about how their words and actions affect others and how respect can be shown in different situations. Pupils explore respectful behaviour towards other people, belongings and shared spaces, as well as listening, taking turns and accepting different opinions.

The Spot the Respect & Disrespect and Respect in Action activities provide opportunities for pupils to apply their learning independently, in pairs or through whole-class discussion.

Ideal for Health & Wellbeing, PSHE, UNCRC, children’s rights and beginning-of-year learning.
