Inspired by Lesley Welsh during her NALA webinar. Translation activity for higher achievers - desirable difficulty - but could be adapted and made simpler for any class or ability.
Sentences are chunked - in each hexagon first letter of each word in the chunk is provided - students reconstruct and write the text out and translate. It could be arranged to play as blockbusters as well or simplified to use with mixed or lower ability class.
