Romeo and Juliet Monopoly - Student led

This is a fun way to revise Romeo and Juliet before the exam or to create as you go through the play. There are a few resources in this bundle to consolidate learning of the play narrative, characters, themes and quotes.

The bundle consists of the following resources all in PowerPoint:

- A monopoly board (A3)
- Property Cards: the character and themes of the play to collect
- Chance Cards: Students write their own questions based on their knowledge of the characters / themes/quotes
- Community Chest Cards: Students write their own questions based on their knowledge of the characters / themes/quotes
- Dice: outline of a dice to print and for students to make
- Instruction Card
- Property Cards (DIY): The idea is to get students to write their own questions of varying difficulty (RAG) on the character/theme on the back of the card to use when playing the game
- Quote Quiz Cards: Students to find quotes based on a variety of characters and fill in the cards with these quotes. They have two questions already posed on them.

This has been a successful tool with our classes in the run up to the GCSE season but this could be compiled throughout the year when you study the specific characters and themes and complete the cards.

At the moment all the questions are written by the students but I will be creating one where the questions are already populated on the cards (watch this space).

All sheets have a page at the top to explain how they are formulated for printing and the print instructions. All documents are made on Powerpoint so can easily be edited for a different ability group.
