A KS4 AQA History lesson centred on Russia leaving the war in 1917.

Students will investigate life during the First World War under the Tsar’s leadership and how the war eroded confidence in him.

The two revolutions are covered as well as the abdication of the Tsar. Russia’s signing of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk draws an end to it’s involvement in the First World War.

Students will be exposed to sources and exam style questions.
