This resource can be used to scaffold and practise writing a paragraph response to a reading exam style question.
This resource can also be used in lessons to verbally practise a response prior to writing.
Students can answer the list of questions to support them in scaffolding and building their exam style answer. This is an alternative to the PEED/PEA/PEE paragraph structures and encourages students to focus on all of the specific elements of the mark scheme.
Following the questions, there is also an example exam style paragraph response using this structure based on ‘A Christmas Carol’.
