Science Investigation Skills / Recording Results and Communicating Findings

In this activity pupils are presented with the results of 3 fictitious science investigations. The results are presented in different but always ineffective ways. Pupils worked in pairs to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each investigation. They can follow this by presenting the results in a more effective way.

I've also included a simplified copy of the Scientific Level Descriptors L3-L6 since my class found it useful to be able to see what was needed in order to take their work to the next level.

This activity took two lessons to complete.
