Students are often asked to self assess and peer assess. This activity was designed to give them practise at assessing work before they complete a full task. They first re-order and assess the polar bear activity, which you can agree on as a class. Then they assess their own piece using the self assessment guidelines and finish by comparing their assessment with others using the peer assessment sheet.
