Thank you, very clear and useful introduction to perfect tense with avoir. I would also remind students that where English often uses one verb, in French there always have to be two. The translations into English could include the English past particples eg. I sang, I ate etc.
Brilliant aid for anyone wanting to pre teach the perfect tense or engage in a bit of flipped learning!
