Over 2 hours of lesson activities going into detail of what each poem is about, the poetic devices Heaney uses and what deeper meaning should be explored. At the end there are some further explanations of poetic devices, like deviation, which can be used as scaffolding and stretching more able learners. Poems being analysed are Broagh, Punishment and Strange Fruit. Some context is also given. Suitable for GSCE and A-Level Lang/lit leaners.
