This is a six week medium term plan, based on the play ‘Our Day Out’. Although the content is created for key stage 3 students, it has been adapted to cover ages 7, 10 and 13. Each activity has been created with the three working levels in mind. The reading focuses on extracts from the play, whilst a SPAG lesson each week works towards skills the students can use in their final written piece. The skills students will learn, work towards expectations in functional skills and GCSE levels.
