Find the 2D shape under each lizard with 20 clip cards. The sides and corners are partly hidden, so children who already know their shapes still have to hunt. Print once, clip, and reuse in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 centers.
The lizard sits on the shape. A side slips under the tail. A corner disappears under the head. The square is no longer a poster square, and the star is no longer complete — only the pieces that are still visible. Children who already know their shapes now have to find them. One clip on the card shows whether the shape was recognised or only remembered as a full outline.
