Lesson designed to getting children speaking in sentences based around the popular book ‘Shark in the Park’ by Nick Sharratt. Contains PowerPoint and resources to deliver the lesson. Ideal for the spring/summer term of reception.

The lesson teaches positional language and then encourages children to apply this within an increasingly complex sentence structure following a series of steps following the ‘Colourful Semantics’ approach. The resource contains engaging illustrations to get the children talking.

The pack also contains resources for a follow on writing activity.
