SMART Targets for the English Classroom

This bundle includes an poster and worksheet to help English Lit. students develop SMART targets and engage in reflective practice.

The worksheet is designed to help students engage ion self-evaluation and reflective practice by setting their own learning goals. The first page introduces students to the concept of SMART targets, and has examples of targets based on English lit. classes. The second page has a list of ‘un-SMART’ goals, the third is designed to help them brainstorm their own targets, based on a series of prompting questions. Finally, the fourth page has space for them to write their final three goals.
