What students will learn:
This unit tackles the health risks associated with substances often marketed towards or encountered by young people. Students will compare traditional risks like smoking with newer trends such as vaping, energy drinks, and psychoactive substances.
They’ll also learn about the social and physical dangers of festival drug culture and the misuse of nitrous oxide. By understanding both the health impacts and the social pressures, students can make safer, more informed choices.
