Snowman Rhyming Game - Short Vowels CVC

This fun versatile winter rhyming game is great for individuals or groups. Children build snowmen into word families. 50 words included and 10 different word families, including:
-an, -at, -ed, -et, -ip, -id, -ob, -ot, -ug, -un
There are also 2 blank snowmen and a sheet of blank snowballs so you can customize to your classroom by adding your own.

This set is Short Vowels Level 1. This means that there are only words comprised of short vowels, and no blends, diagraphs or dipthongs. I also chose words with consistent hard c and hard g sounds. Because this game is buildable, you will be able to add more cards from a level 2 set and long vowel set as your students master more sounds.

I have included a sheet of labels to print on the back of the cards so that once you add in Level 2 with more sounds, or mix in with long vowel words, they will be easy to sort and store.
I recommend printing on cardstock and laminating them for durability.
