These are worksheets which I devised when teaching the balancing method to solve equation for my SEN yr10 group. The numbers are very simple, but they stretch across all possible combinations of operations and negative/positive numbers. There's also a plenary worksheet which I used on the IWB, and then asked the class to finish as homework. It could easily be used with middle/higher sets in KS3.
