Gap-filling activity with 30+ preterite verbs. The infinitives are supplied in order at the bottom. Several ways to use this resource depending on students' ability: Remove infinitives for extra challenge; keep them and give the students some time before listening to the song and guess the missing part (not always clear!); or just listen and fill in. There is a brief extension task at the end which deals with other verb forms and tenses. I think it is ideal for GCSE final revision or as a starter activity in AS.
