Revision quiz on the basics of sound. Aimed at 11-14 Years but can easily be adapted to make it more suitable for different abilities. Focus on frequency and amplitude relating to pitch and volume; reading waves; speed questions and guitar / tuning fork knowledge.
The questions on PPt slides can be printed off and spread around the classroom / outside and the children move around and answer the questions on the customised sheet. Answers provided for group / peer marking if you wish.
Speed equation questions have more marks to encourage the showing of workings and units.
