- To begin to make judgements about the UTILITY (usefulness) of sources.
Lesson designed for year 8 originally - mainly discussion based. Pupils evaluate a picture source using D.I.C.E. method before being introduced to other sources for cross referencing. They then consider how their opinion of reliability and usefulness changes when they find out more information about the provenance of the source.
