This Teach, Practise, Extend PowerPoint resource focuses on how commas are used to add extra information in a sentence. In total there are three slides:

Slide 1 - Definition of how commas can be used to include extra information in a sentence with examples.Examples include the extra information in the middle and at the end of a sentence.
Slide 2 - Eight sentences where the commas are missing. The children need to copy the sentences out putting the commas in the correct place.
Slide 3 - Ten partially completed sentences where the extra information is given and the children need to complete the sentences.

The resource is colourfully designed and can clearly be seen from a distance making it ideal to display on the Interactive Whiteboard. It is also extremely good value for money, providing you with a straightforward and highly effective teaching resource. Great for a lesson starter, revision or early morning activity!

The slides can be edited to suit the needs of your class but this resource, including the images must not be distributed to others without our permission.
