Gives an explanation on the binomial system, defining a species and how courtship behaviour is important for the survival of a species. Includes definitions of key words throughout.
Mini research task to get students to find the binomial names from common names of organisms (Internet is required for this)
There are also exam questions based on the lesson including definitions, explaining why courtship behaviour is necessary and using knowledge to explain how you can find out if two organisms are of the same species. Both worksheets come with answers at the bottom.
