Speech and Language Intervention Programme /s/, /k/, /sh/ and /ch/

A complete 12-week speech, language and communication intervention programme designed for pupils who need highly structured, accessible support with speech sounds and sentence formation.

This substantial intervention pack contains 36 ready-to-deliver sessions, planned for 15 minutes, three times a week. It is particularly suitable for secondary-aged pupils working at an earlier developmental language level who require age-respectful materials without childish presentation.

The programme focuses on helping pupils retain the sounds /s/, /k/, /sh/ and /ch/ at the beginning and end of words before applying them within phrases, sentences and everyday conversation.

It also directly teaches complete sentence construction, supporting pupils who may use reduced sentences such as “Me went park” instead of “I went to the park.”
