I offer you a machete, a guide and a weathered path through the primary rainforest that is the staff room. Good luck, Indy.

Great advice. Also contains one of the funniest typos in the last few lines. I literally guffawed.

All very true, we love BIRTHDAYS as much a cake days, as you have to out-do the last birthday and bring in More then they did, needless to say we always have loads of 'stuff' to eat. Now Christmas in a Primary school is so much fun, just how many extra boxes of chocolates can be found in the staff room at the beginning of January term...... All the ones that were opened at home, and bought in saying 'i'll never eat them at home', to find that you will eat them at school, in the safe 'staff room' where no one watches you..... Oh for the Staffrooms......!

Super advice - as a prolific baker, I always take a cake in. It's a great way of saying "Hi, I'm a friendly soul !" Cakes never last long in our staff room!
