TWO HOURS NEW 2026 DfE RSHE GUIDELINES COMPLIANT (see lesson plan included for details)- Stalking, harassment and the law PSHE lesson focusing on what stalking and harassment are, how they are legally defined, how we know if we are being stalked or harassed and what can legally be done about it.
Students will investigate real life cases of stalking that have ended up with the perpetrators serving custodial sentences. They will analyse whether UK law is tough enough in these cases, or whether it needs re-evaluating. Students will explore the effects on the victims lives, how they have been impacted in the short and long-term and the different ways a person may be stalked or harassed - so students are able to recognise this. This lesson is created for KS4 although could also be used with Year 9. Signposting included and detailed lesson plan.
Students will complete source analysis tasks, literacy and debate tasks, creative tasks, clip tasks and much more.
