Starbooks Reading Display

Transform your reading area into a welcoming literary café with this Starbooks inspired reading display. Designed to promote reading for pleasure, this resource helps create an engaging and inviting space where books take centre stage.

For my own display, I printed the Starbooks logo double-sided and displayed it in the classroom windows, while the posters were arranged around the reading area. I personalised the Barista Reviews by adding teachers’ names and attaching them to books they recommended, which encouraged pupils to explore staff favourites. The Book of the Day chalkboard was used to showcase our current class novel.

To add to the café vibes, I visited a local Starbucks branch, who kindly provided some unused takeaway cups. These were placed around the display, with some painted to look as though they contained drinks. Adding fairy lights helped create a warm and inviting reading environment that encouraged children to browse and enjoy books.
