Both excellent spreadsheets and very useful for correlation but actually nothing on regression lines here.

Two great little spreadsheets with a lot of possibilites for use, the first one is particuarly useful where the students have to first calculate the PMCC values and then work out the PMCC. What is nice is that the PMCC values can be revealed before the value of r so weaker students can be helped out by revealing this early. I would use this with mini-whiteboards to check understanding and allow the students a chance to consolidate. Also very helpful for getting students to just estimate the value of r which they do need to be able to do at A-level but can often struggle with. Thank you for sharing.
