I taught this lesson to Years 5 and 6 (grades 4 and 5) as they wanted it as part of their Christmas production. They sang a verse in English and a verse in German. With Christmas productions coming up, I thought some of you here may also want to do a similar thing. I shared this lesson with all of the staff in my school and it was taught by non-specialists

Note - the lesson focuses only on the first verse of 'Stille Nacht'

Lesson Features:
*The lesson plan gives a step by step guide for what to do on each slide
*Flashcard game
*Help with pronunciation and vocabulary
*Literal translation of 'Stille Nacht'
*'Scavenger Hunt' activity where the children hunt around the classroom for cards in order to complete the song and its translation - Or:
*'Make a Sentence' where the children use the cards on their tables to complete the song and its translation
*'Who is Singing?' - One child has their back to the class and has to guess who is singing a line of 'Stille Nacht' (they can do it in a funny voice)
*'Round of Stille Nacht' in the classroom with a clear slide and instructions on how to achieve this

I only downloaded this as thought it would have the pronunciation (I can't access youtube at school). Really disappointed I spent £3.
